About this program

The City of Edmonton Youth Council ended on August 31, 2026. City Council dissolved it that spring along with six other advisory boards, after nearly three decades of youth members writing policy proposals and advising Council on issues affecting young Edmontonians. Other Alberta municipalities still run youth councils or advisory committees, so check your own city or town's civic agency listings for one that is recruiting.
