ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Alberta pays up to $40,000 toward post-secondary for youth aged 18 to 24 who have been in government care. If you've been in foster care, this is the largest source of funding available to you in the province.
Three deadlines a year, tied to when you start school: apply by June 1 to start September to December, October 1 to start January to April, February 1 to start May to August. The next one is October 1, 2026. You reapply every year.
