The requirement is every exam, not an average across them, so a single 2 removes an otherwise qualifying student. Because it is awarded after grade 12 ends, plan the AP course load in grade 11 rather than waiting.

About this scholarship

Austin O'Brien gives $500 to students who complete three or more Advanced Placement courses and score 3 or higher on every AP exam they write. It is assessed after the grade 12 year is finished.
