Worth knowing

Twelve academic credits each term and verification from the athletic director or coach are required. The athletic application deadline is separate from Burman's general scholarship deadline, so check both.

About this scholarship

A renewable award starting at $1,250 in the first year of participation and rising to as much as $2,000 in later years on skill, team commitment and a coach's recommendation. You have to try out for and play a full season with an official on-campus team such as basketball, soccer, volleyball or the Acronaires. Intramurals, mini tournaments and clubs do not count.
