Who can apply

Children of serving, retired or deceased Calgary firefighters

Worth knowing

You reapply every year, and the cap is four years of funding with the first application made before your 25th birthday. Stepchildren qualify where the firefighter has been financially responsible for at least three years before the child turned 18, but grandchildren never do. The next cycle opens in November 2026.
