ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Calgary Black Chambers Legacy Entrance Scholarship provides two awards of $2,500 each to Black Canadian students graduating from a high school in the Calgary region and entering their first year of post-secondary education. Applicants must have a minimum 70% GPA, and financial need will be considered as part of the selection process. Eligible schools include those located in Airdrie, Calgary, Chestermere, Cochrane, High River, Okotoks, Springbank, Strathmore, and Diamond Valley.
Most Calgary Black Chambers scholarships close June 1 at midnight, though a few named awards use other dates. Applications usually go through the Calgary Foundation grant interface.
