Canmore Collegiate lists about thirty-five local awards, most from Bow Valley businesses, clubs and families. The largest are the Town of Canmore Law Enforcement Bursary ($2,500) and $1,000 awards including the Peter and Catharine Whyte Fine Art Scholarship, the 3 Ski Areas Alpine Scholarship, the Bertram Dyck Leadership Bursary, the Mount Temple IODE Award and the Canmore Jam Music Scholarship. Others include the Collins Barrow Bow Valley scholarship ($750), Rotary scholarships for engineering, technical and nursing students ($500 each), the Soroptimist Leadership Award, the CUPE Local 4306 and Boilermakers bursaries, and Canmore Lions awards for Grades 9 to 11.
