Camrose Composite grade 12 students who win no other school award

Worth knowing

Every award in the handbook is decided from a single ECCHS Awards Application, and the school says outright that a student may submit only one. The cutoff is a dated one rather than a repeating day, and the 2026 round closed on Monday, June 22, so ask student services for the current date.

About this scholarship

One award from the Camrose Chamber of Commerce with a condition that inverts how awards normally work: the recipient must NOT receive any other ECCHS award that year, honours excepted. Honours standing is explicitly not necessary, and the recipient is not even required to continue their schooling. Financial need is considered, and applicants are asked to explain how they intend to finance their education and any extenuating circumstances.

How to apply

1 Ask your guidance counsellor how your school handles this award.
2 Ask for the school deadline too. It is often earlier than the one listed here.
