Who can apply

An Austin O'Brien grade 12 student mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters

Worth knowing

The school does not publish a value for this one, so ask student services what it has paid recently. The qualifying activity has to be arranged through Big Brothers Big Sisters, which takes months to set up, so this is one to start in grade 11.

About this scholarship

Austin O'Brien and Big Brothers Big Sisters recognize the school's most outstanding grade 12 mentor. The mentoring is done outside school hours through the agency rather than through a school club.

How to apply

1 Ask your guidance counsellor how your school handles this award.
2 Ask for the school deadline too. It is often earlier than the one listed here.
