The 2026 deadline was March 31, 2026; the 2027 date here is rolled forward. Apply by mail, email or hand delivery to the GCAA at the German Cultural Club, and include signed, dated time sheets for your volunteer hours.

About this scholarship

Up to six $250 awards a year from the German Canadian Association of Alberta for Alberta high school students aged 14 or older who have volunteered at least 15 hours with a German club in good standing with the association, or at a major event promoting German language and culture such as Heritage Days, German Days or Oktoberfest. The money is for curricular or extracurricular activities.
