Worth knowing

Worth knowing about specifically because it breaks the Grade 11 rule that governs the rest of the Horatio Alger slate: this stream takes Grade 12 students, or CEGEP students in their final year. The academic bar is a 2.0 GPA rather than the 70 percent average the other streams ask for. You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Open across Canada. About this scholarship

Five awards of $10,000 for First Nations, Inuit and Métis students, and the one Horatio Alger stream that takes Grade 12 applicants rather than Grade 11.
