Get a shortlist

Not sure where to start? Answer a few questions about your grade, where you live, what you want to study and your average, and get the awards you fit, with the ones closing soonest up top. No email needed, and your answers never leave your device.

Save the ones you want

Tap Save on any listing. Your shortlist lives on the Saved page, as a list or a calendar of deadlines, so you can come back to it. No account: it stays on this device.

Never miss a deadline

The Deadlines page lays out every closing date, month by month. On any listing, leave your email and get a reminder 30, 14 and 3 days before it closes. That email is the only personal information we ever hold, and one click deletes it.

Who can apply

Wetaskiwin Composite graduates entering a human care field

Worth knowing

Human care is not defined tightly on the form, so say plainly in your paragraph how your programme puts you in front of people who need help. One Google Form covers every in-house award at Wetaskiwin Composite. You tick the awards you want to be considered for, write one paragraph on why, and that paragraph is judged against all of them at once. The 2026 form closed June 6 and winners were told by email or text in September, so watch the school's post-secondary page for the next one in the spring.

About this scholarship

One award of $500 from the Wetaskiwin Oddfellows lodge for a graduate entering what the school calls the human care field. That covers nursing, social work, education, child and youth care and the helping professions generally rather than a single named programme.

How to apply

1 Ask your guidance counsellor how your school handles this award.
2 Ask for the school deadline too. It is often earlier than the one listed here.
