Indspire Building Brighter Futures Bursaries and Scholarships
Indspire is the largest non-governmental funder of Indigenous post-secondary students in Canada, with more than $190 million awarded since 1996. First Nations, Inuit and Métis students in college, university, skilled trades, apprenticeship and technology programs all qualify. You need to be studying full time in Canada with at least a 60 percent course load, and you can hold one Indspire award per academic year. Bursaries go on financial need, scholarships on merit. Decisions take three to six weeks and only successful applicants are contacted.
One application covers every Indspire bursary, scholarship and award you qualify for. Cutoffs are August 1, November 1 and February 1 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Have your Indigenous card (front and back), your most recent grades and proof of full-time enrolment ready before you start.
