Applications go through your school.
DEADLINE June 1, 2027

Who can apply

Graduating students at every Fort McMurray high school

Worth knowing

Because there is one per school rather than one for the city, your competition is your own graduating class rather than every graduate in Fort McMurray. It honours two educators who helped build the public system from 1975 on. Applications come from student services in late April.

About this scholarship

One award of $500 at each high school in Fort McMurray, recognising leadership and citizenship. The selection committee is told to give particular attention to a student who has overcome personal difficulties or who is in financial need. It is tenable at any accredited post-secondary school.

How to apply

1 Ask your guidance counsellor how your school handles this award.
2 Ask for the school deadline too. It is often earlier than the one listed here.

Email me before it closes

We send one link to confirm, then a reminder 30, 14 and 3 days before the deadline.
We store your address only to send these reminders, and delete it the moment you unsubscribe. How this works.
