Who can apply

Senior 4-H members entering any degree, certificate or trade program

Worth knowing

Worth the least per award, but open to the widest range of programs, so it is the stream to try if no other 4-H field requirement fits. You must be a senior 4-H member to apply, and every stream is applied for through the same 4-H Canada portal. The 2026 cycle has closed and 4-H Canada has not posted 2027 dates yet.

About this scholarship

John Deere Canada funds 15 awards of $1,000 a year through 4-H Canada. It is the least restrictive of the six streams on field of study: any degree, certificate or trade-based program at a Canadian college or university qualifies.
