Worth knowing

Apply online through the Google Form linked on the page after reading the year's guidelines, which set the deadline; paper applications are not accepted. You can win KCSFE awards up to five times in total: twice in high school, twice in university or college, and once in graduate school.

About this scholarship

The Korean Canadian Scholarship Foundation of Edmonton awards $1,000 to high school students and $2,000 to university or college students, chosen 80% on artistic or athletic ability or potential and 20% on academics. It is open to all backgrounds, including permanent residents and international students, who are full-time in Grade 10 to 12 or an undergraduate program (majoring in arts or sports at that level) and live, or have parents who live, in Edmonton or elsewhere in Alberta from Red Deer north.
