ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
MADD Canada's Youth Bursary Fund supports young Canadians who have been personally affected by impaired driving, whether through serious injury or the loss of an immediate family member. This $10,000 award (top prize: Louise Joanne Twerdy Award) helps recipients pursue full-time studies at an approved post-secondary institution. Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to education while carrying the impact of an impaired driving tragedy.
Deadline is May 31 every year. One $10,000 Louise Twerdy bursary plus additional $5,000 bursaries each year. You download the application form from the MADD site.
