Worth knowing

The union created this in 2017 specifically so high school students would stop losing to university students in one shared pool, so the two awards here are the whole field. Your parent needs two consecutive years of AUPE service and you must be under 25. The essay is marked by independent adjudicators and has to be formal: title page, footnotes, citations, bibliography.

About this scholarship

Two awards from the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees, ring-fenced for high school students, funded through the Members' Education Assistance Fund.
