Worth knowing

You must be 17 to 21 as of December 1 and live east of the Crestomere School west boundary. Send the form with an essay on how your training will help rural Alberta, plus your current marks, by mail or email. The money is released once you show proof you have paid for your program. The society lists September 1 as its yearly deadline.

About this scholarship

The Ponoka Agricultural Society gives up to four $750 scholarships a year to young people from the Town or County of Ponoka whose trade, certificate, diploma or degree program relates to agriculture or benefits rural farming communities.
