ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Premier's Citizenship Award recognizes Alberta high school students who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their communities. Each school nominates one graduating student annually to receive this $7,005 award in recognition of their citizenship and community contributions.
The 2027 intake opens March 1, 2027. Your school nominates you, one graduating Grade 12 student per Alberta high school, and you have to hold this nomination before you can apply for the Alberta Centennial or Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee awards. Submitted through the GATE Front Office system.
