Who can apply

Grade 12 students graduating from a Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord francophone school

Worth knowing

The deadline is set relative to your own ceremony rather than to a calendar date, at three weeks before graduation, so the school office is the only place that can tell you the real day. In Beaumont the school is Ecole Quatre-Saisons.

About this scholarship

The francophone division gives this to its graduating ambassadors: $500 at a school with one to nineteen graduates, and two awards of $500 where twenty or more graduate. The application is a letter to the principal describing yourself and what you intend to study or do, and candidates who make the shortlist are interviewed by a selection committee at the school. Because it is awarded per school rather than per division, a small francophone school is a much better place to win it from than a large one.

How to apply

1 Ask your guidance counsellor how your school handles this award.
2 Ask for the school deadline too. It is often earlier than the one listed here.
