ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Scholarship for Performing Arts awards $7,000 annually to Alberta high school students demonstrating exceptional talent in performing arts. The award rotates yearly among music, theatre, and dance disciplines, requiring school nomination and guidance counsellor involvement. Eligible students should contact their guidance counsellor early, as internal school deadlines precede the provincial application deadline.
You have to be nominated for the Premier's Citizenship Award by your school first. The 2027 intake opens March 1, 2027 through the GATE Front Office system.
