Worth knowing

The date here is Paul Kane's April 10. Bellerose collects the same award until June 1 and the other schools set their own, so the deadline you are held to is your own school's, not the one printed here. Ask your counsellor which applies to you.

About this scholarship

Formerly the Roy Swanson Memorial, this is a $1,000 scholarship for a grade 12 student going on to post-secondary study in fine arts, trades, technology, business, or study in French. Bellerose's version of the criteria sets a minimum 65% overall average and asks for above-average community service in the school or the community. The five eligible fields are unusually wide for a service club award, and trades sit in the list on equal footing with business.

How to apply

1 Ask your guidance counsellor how your school handles this award.
2 Ask for the school deadline too. It is often earlier than the one listed here.

Email me before it closes

We send one link to confirm, then a reminder 30, 14 and 3 days before the deadline.
We store your address only to send these reminders, and delete it the moment you unsubscribe. How this works.
