Who can apply

The ten highest-scoring Alberta students on their first diploma exams

Worth knowing

There is nothing to fill in. Recipients are drawn from the pool of Alexander Rutherford applicants, so applying for the Rutherford is the entire application, and only the first writing of each diploma exam counts. A rewrite cannot put you back in contention, which is worth knowing before you decide to rewrite for a higher Rutherford total.

About this scholarship

A $2,500 top-up the province gives to the ten highest-scoring students in Alberta, identified from the first writing of the diploma exams.
