Newcomers to Canada settling in northwestern Alberta

Worth knowing

Most newcomer awards in Alberta are written for Calgary or Edmonton, so a Peace Country student has far fewer of them competing for attention here. One universal application covers every fund the foundation holds, so there is nothing separate to file for this one. The foundation publishes the roster of fund names but keeps each fund's value and criteria inside the portal, which tells you what you qualify for once you submit.

About this scholarship

A Northwestern Alberta Foundation fund directed at students who have recently arrived in Canada and are starting post-secondary study from the Peace Country.
