Who can apply

Grade 12 student-athletes nominated by a School Sport Alberta member school

Worth knowing

Your school nominates, and it may put forward only one male and one female student, so the first hurdle is internal and the principal has to sign the form. You also owe a teacher reference, a reference from someone in the sports community, a two-page resume and a 500-word essay on what sport and healthy eating mean to you.

About this scholarship

Alberta Milk funds two of these a year through School Sport Alberta, the body that was called the ASAA until it renamed itself, for grade 12 athletes heading to post-secondary in Canada.
