Who can apply

Students in a library sciences or library technician program in any year of study

Worth knowing

It is open to any year of study, so a student starting a library technician diploma straight out of Grade 12 qualifies. It is a narrow field but a genuinely open door, and it needs a GPA of at least 2.7 or 70% plus demonstrated financial need. The provider had not posted a date for the new cycle when this was checked in August 2026, so this is last cycle's deadline rolled forward. Confirm before you plan around it.

About this scholarship

Two awards of about $2,500, preferably one to an undergraduate and one to a graduate student, for someone enrolled in a Library and Information Sciences or Library Technician certificate, diploma or graduate program at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
