Worth knowing

The provider had not posted a date for the new cycle when this was checked in August 2026, so this is last cycle's deadline rolled forward. Confirm before you plan around it. The award page describes who it is for but does not spell out a grade requirement, so ask the foundation whether your year qualifies before you build a plan around it.

About this scholarship

A $5,000 bursary for girls pursuing a career in aviation, created in memory of Lindsey More, who was training for her private pilot licence at Sky Wings Aviation Academy. Her family founded Smiles Thru Lindsey after her death in 2015 to raise suicide awareness and fund mental health education for youth in Central Alberta. The Community Foundation of Central Alberta releases the money to your post-secondary institution, which credits your tuition account.
