Spruce Grove and District Agricultural Heritage Society Student Scholarship

Spruce Grove

Who can apply: Tri-Region residents in an agriculture-related program, any year

Amount and deadline

AWARD VALUE
$1,000
Applications go through your school.
DEADLINE October 15, 2026
NEEDS Grades 10 to 12

Checked against the provider's page in Sep 2026.

Who can apply

Tri-Region residents in an agriculture-related program, any year

Worth knowing

Applications go by email to the society rather than through a school, and it says late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Note that the society's own page now says $1,000 each; the $750 figure that appears on a school scholarship page and in older coverage is out of date.

About this scholarship

Two scholarships of $1,000 each from the Spruce Grove and District Agricultural Society, for students enrolled in an agriculture-related field of study at an accredited college, university or trade school. Two things make this wider than a typical graduation award: any year of study qualifies, not just first year, and past applicants and recipients are allowed to apply again. You have to be a resident of the Tri-Region, meaning Parkland County, Spruce Grove or Stony Plain.

How to apply

1 Ask your guidance counsellor how your school handles this award.
2 Ask for the school deadline too. It is often earlier than the one listed here.

Email me before it closes

We send one link to confirm, then a reminder 30, 14 and 3 days before the deadline.
We store your address only to send these reminders, and delete it the moment you unsubscribe. How this works.
