About this scholarship

About forty King's awards take applications from incoming high school students, usually needing an 80% entrance average for scholarships or financial need for bursaries. They include the Boessenkool Scholarship (twelve at $2,000 for commerce), the Cook/Mahaffy Bursary ($4,000), Computronix computing science awards ($1,000 to $3,000), environmental studies awards from $500 to $2,000, the King's Awareness Scholarship ($2,000, renewable, for students from a Canadian high school that has not sent anyone to King's in two years), music scholarships that ask for a video, and several awards that ask for a statement of Christian commitment.
