Worth knowing

One application covers all three Friends of Canadian Simmental Foundation scholarships; applications are considered for the foundation's own scholarship first, then for this one and the first-year scholarship. You can win at most two of the foundation's awards in your lifetime, and winners may be asked to judge later rounds.

About this scholarship

A $3,000 scholarship for first-year students from the Friends of Canadian Simmental Foundation, open to Canadian citizens involved in the beef cattle industry who are attending a post-secondary institution for any degree, diploma or certificate in any field. You do not need to be in an agriculture program.
