ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
UCalgary's renewable award for low-income, rural, and Indigenous students entering its undergraduate programs: up to $5,000 a year, to a maximum of $20,000 over four years, with an eye toward students headed for medicine.
Applications open October 1, 2026 and close December 1. Shortlisted applicants get a preliminary application in early December, due early January, with decisions in February.
