Who can apply
Worth knowing
Violet King graduated from Calgary's Crescent Heights and became the first Black woman called to the bar in Canada, in Alberta in 1954. All four Local 38 awards share one closing date at the end of May and one portal, so a single trip through the site covers whichever of them you qualify for. Local 38 runs its awards through a members-only portal, so the opening date is not published anywhere public; all four of its awards share the end-of-May closing date and one application site.
About this scholarship
