June graduates who formerly lived in Bashaw, Bawlf, New Norway or Daysland

Worth knowing

Mr. Kendall at Camrose Composite holds this one; there is no online form. The residency condition is historic rather than current, so a family that has since moved into Camrose still qualifies.

About this scholarship

Two awards for students who graduate in June and start a post-secondary program that same fall, one given for academic work and one for trades or technical study. What makes it reachable is the residency rule: it is for former residents of Bashaw, Bawlf, New Norway or Daysland, four small communities around Camrose, which is a much smaller field than the school as a whole.

How to apply

1 Ask your guidance counsellor how your school handles this award.
2 Ask for the school deadline too. It is often earlier than the one listed here.
