Who can apply
Worth knowing
Eligibility runs by school: Bow Valley, Cochrane, St. Timothy Jr./Sr. High, Innisfail Middle, Innisfail High, St. Marguerite Bourgeoys, or Ecole Secondaire Notre Dame, with Innisfail catchment residency. Because it spans two towns with no facet of their own it sits under Alberta here. The reference letter is optional, which is unusual. The provider had not posted a date for the new cycle when this was checked in August 2026, so this is last cycle's deadline rolled forward. Confirm before you plan around it.
About this scholarship
Two awards of $1,000, ideally one for an Innisfail student and one for a Cochrane student, paid through the school or post-secondary institution. It is for a student aged 12 through Grade 12 who is working toward lifeguard certification or advancing their training.
