About this scholarship

G.L.D.C. Gas Co-op awards two $1,000 scholarships a year, one named for Jack Siebenga, to gas customers in good standing in its franchise area, or their children, who are entering the first year of a university, college or trade school. Community involvement, academic commitment and interest in rural development or energy are preferred, and each student can win only once.
