Valour Canada History and Heritage Scholarship
The Valour Canada History and Heritage Scholarship recognizes Canadian youth who engage with their country's military history and service. Applicants under 21 who are not currently in post-secondary education submit a 4–6 minute YouTube video visiting a local war memorial or monument, referencing at least two of Valour Canada's character pillars (communication, cooperation, courage, responsibility, resilience, or thoughtfulness), along with a short written statement. The top prize is $2,000; a runner-up award of $500 is also given. Quebec residents and those attending post-secondary during the 2025-2026 school year are not eligible.
The 2025-26 contest closed June 10, 2026 at 23:59 EST. Valour Canada runs it annually on the same date. You submit an introductory document plus a video under 1 GB by email.
