ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Voice for Animals High School Scholarship awards up to $500 to 21 high school students (ages 14-18) who demonstrate passion for animal welfare. Applicants submit a written essay or short video addressing topics such as animal mistreatment, species extinction, or solutions to animal suffering. The contest is divided into two age categories (14-15 and 16-18 years), giving younger and older high school students equal footing. No citizenship requirement.
Heads up: the Animal Welfare Institute had not posted the next cycle date when this was checked in August 2026, so this is last year's date rolled forward. Confirm on their site before you plan around it.
